Dies with throttle 2007 Qlink Legend 250
Just bought my bike used, loved the way it looked: Problem is, it idles beautifully, but as soon as you throttle it dies out (same as hitting engine kill). Carb looks very clean, double and triple checked everything, all jets are clean, diaphragm appears to be in wonderful condition (was going to replace it, but it looks new, no light showing through). Can get into second gear at idle, then work the throttle enough to get it into third, but I can't just hit the throttle and go. Adjusted the fuel adjuster to 2 full turns out and air to 1 full turn out. The bike doesn't die instantly now on the throttle (delayed *****, actually tries to throttle). Since the air adjustment screw is buried inside the carb assembly, I am curious what this should be set at (don't want to tear it down, adjust, put back together, try, rinse repeat). I am almost certain it is air/fuel mix, but alas I could be wrong. Any suggestions? @

Hi have you checked fuel filter or filter in the tank also make sure the fuel line has no kinks you say the diaphragm looks good make sure there are no holes or it's not sticking as this will cause fuel level to be low in float chamber and cause fuel starvation.Good luck.
