Have you taken the clock off? If so you might have incorrectly connected one of the leads to the wrong power source. You need to have a constant power supply to the clock for the memory but the clock light needs to be through the switch so that it will operate only when the ignition is on. If you work your way through the cables you should hit paydirt. Most source wires are the same colour as the cable of the accessory, but not always. To find the wire supplying the memory, switch your bike on and one by one disconnect the couplings reconnecting them as you go until you lose the readout. That is the one. Now you need to find a constant power source. Switch your bike off and look for a likely cable. Once you readout comes back that's the one.
