Mine has fuse under cover, didn't help though.they have life time warranty. I called mc they diognosed over phone and sent me free control box. I didn't have receipt. All is good now

Joe, there is another battery inside the fan cowling cover, that also needs to be replaced. However, if you have a wall mounted, remote receiver there are also batteries in it, instead of inside the fan's cowling cover.
