I have a Dimplex storage heater. It has an ''input'' dial..which I have set to 7-8 (for cold weather) and a ''room boost'' dial which is set to late boost. it works on/off...even though i don't fiddle with the heater. Recently a friend changed my apartment thermostat dial to ''normal'' and it helped for a while............now it has stopped working again.
Is the operation and function of the heater dependant on the atmospheric temperature?? My apartment is still cold. Or am I doing something wrong?
