Dings sometimes with out pushing the button ??
What would cause this ? Door bell rings with no activation of push button. I understand that this can be caused by some other wireless frequency out there. How do you program for different frequencies? Or can this be done on the Heath Zenith SL 6166-RX-A wireless door chime?

I believe there are either dip switches (or old-fashioned "jumpers" in both the button (the 'transmitter') and the dinger (the receiver). See if this is the case, and that the dip switches (or jumpers) are in the same position in both units. Then, simply switch one of the dip switches (or jumpers) to another 'position' in both the button and the dinger. There ya go...
