Could also be a water temp problem. If the water isn't hot enough the dishwasher will run longer as it has to heat the water. This could be your water heater turned down too low or the heating element in the dishwasher isn't working properly.
i looked up the error codes I was getting and it appeared to be a thermostat issue that looked like it could be reset but the same problem kept happening.
