Unit will power up and go through it's POST sequence and BEEP. Directional controls appear to be functional(although reversed,but I can live with that). After random attempts pushing buttons ,mode ,go-to,etc scope acted as if slewing in a search.Problem is ,with a solidly lit screen ,I have no clue as to what it REALLY happening . I tried holding the buttons the used to slow down the message scroll, thinking ,maybe it was locked in a hyper-speed loop ,no effect. Is this a hardware or software issue ,and what are my options ( purchase of a replacement,is NOT one them) Controller appears to have an 03 FCC mfg. date. and operates a DS2000 series scope.
