This dimming vacuum display is either caused by a power supply failure with the control board, or a the filaments of the display themselves have started to wear-- similar to that of a bad light bulb. This company does GE Double Oven Timer Repair. You just send them your timer, they repair it and send it back. Note that they charge extra for Double oven timers.
