There are no switches other than the breaker and outdoor disconnect that need to be on. Change your filter in the furnace. I would take a hose to the outdoor coil on the condenser to clean out any dirt and leaves on the coils. Do not spray on high pressure. Just get a good light pressure and spreay from top to botton perpindicular to the fins and up at a 45 degree angle. Other than that, set the thermostat to cool and you should be good to go.
