Duncane grills are the only ones I know of, that require the removal of the control panel, to remove the burner(s). Not sure what their R & D Department was thinking.
In any event, to help you a little more (in case you have misplaced your Owners Manual), I have included a link to your Owners Manual that you can download and print for future reference. Pay particular attention to the section entitled Annual Maintenance . Which starts on Page # 21.
