Hi Joseph: That will depend on your bike. - A 4-stroke engine takes straight gas, and oil lives in the crankcase. You have to check the level every once in a while. - A 2 stroke engine has oil mixed with the gas, typically at a 50:1 ratio, ant there is no oil reservoir in the crankcase. Sometimes the oil is injected automatically, again , depending on the machine. Sounds like you should do some research on the specific machine that you are playing with. Cheers
