Oil/grease your machine as instructed in the owner's manual. Computerized models require very little, if any, oiling and you could seriously damage your machine by applying it inappropriately.
If you don't have a manual, you might check out some of these sites:

but I do caution folks on what kind of oil you put in there , most of the newer units have lots of plastic or polymer friction points , these you should not add a petroleum base oil too, as this softens the plastic up (there made of same thing ) instead use a synthetic lubricant these are easier on the plastics found inside modern machines
