I have a Dodge Stratus with power windows. The drivers side door stopped working in that it won't go up or down. The motor will run when the button is turned on in the up or down mode.

I took the panel off to push the window back up and it moves freely in either direction, so the regulator is not broken. Is there a cable or belt inside that typically breaks that can easily be replaced or repaired.

I want to fix this myself so please provide me with as much information as possible within the confines of this space.
