It is backfiring a little bit through exhaust but that's it. I have ordered a flywheel but I haven't taken the old one off yet. Does the flywheel have a Woodruff key or some other type of key to hold the flywheel so it doesn't slip on the shaft ? I am thinking it is out of time. Let me know what you think. An original Stihl FS55 flywheel will have a built in woodfuff key. They are moulded into the flywheel and its a cheaper way of producing one, which makes them more prone to breaking off. I would have suggested to have checked the old one first as you could save yourself some money if its not damaged. It may still result in being a carb issue and a new carb may solve your problems.
