We used it a the steam cleaner we always use and this product turned my off white carpet rusty looking. This has never happened before. The shampoo was an orange brown color I don't remember it being before. It was an unopened, and we refilled the tank 5-6 times for a large area rug. The next morning it was horrible! I did not find any information about expiration dates on the product.
