Does it have a themostat?
I have a borrowed reddy heater r 50, I think it keeps shutting off because it has reach temp.. if i hit reset it comes right back on... runs for 20 mins then off again ... two knobs in the back one red one white.. are either of the themostats?

The R50 has no thermostat.
The two knobs... are they screws? In the round black plastic end cover? If so, do NOT adjust because they are not a thermostat, instead, this is the heartbeat of the fuel system. The air pump pumps fuel to the nozzle and atomizes the fuel. If you have adjusted the one with a hole in it you will need to reset the pump pressure. It's easy!
