Phones do not usually have a WPS button; they often have an option to use the WPS button during Wi-Fi setup. Your wireless router may have the WPS button; check the manual or look at the router for the button location. To connect the phone to a router with a WPS button, go to Settings (from All Apps) and choose Wi-Fi. Make sure that the slider is set to On. Then tap on the icon with three dots in a black rectangle. Choose the Advanced option. Tap the WPS Push Button option and then push the WPS button on the router.
I looked at the AT&T manual for the ZTE Z835 (Maven 3) for the specifics on this section of the Wi-Fi setup. See page 44 (page 46 of the PDF) of the manual: https://images.comparecellular.com/phones/2673/ZTE-Maven-3-user-guide-ATT-english.pdf .
