Can't read the disk. clean the lens with a dvd/cd lens cleaner (walmart, radio shack, etc.). if you are technically inclined, you can remove the top, remove the transport top, and clean the lens with a soft lint-free cloth (or a q-tip) and rubbing alcohol. wipe the lens off gently and blow it dry. the alcohol will evaporate. put it together and try again. if it still doesn't work, you'll have to replace the entire optical pickup.
