Dometic RM2652 or RM2852 not working
Just bought my first RV(used) and the fridge does not work.It has power and also gas.The on/off light comes on and also the auto light functions normal.The check light even lights after a few minutes when there is no gas.The unit just does not cool at all.Checked fuses and all good.ANy suggestions?

There is a factory recall on these refrigerators. Call Dometic 1800-544-4881 and give them your serial number and model number. Going through the same thing right now. On my Fleetwood Gearbox. Hope that helps. Robert

Hopefully it is only a heating element. Supply gas and see if it holds flame if it does it should heat the coils all the way across. If it does not your coil is most likely bad. Is there any yellow powder any where on the back or inside if so also a sign of a bad coil.
When you test it on gas it will take a while before you feel the coils hot to the left of the burn chamber for the unit to get to full temp is 24 hrs
