Don't think any fuel is getting to carburetor
My car started on friday and saturday but seemed to be idling rough. i've only had the car a week. i tried to start it yesterday and it won't turn over. i took the air filter off to see if i could see or smell the gas and there was none. not even really an odor. it sounds like i am trying to start it with no gas in it. it will crank and crank but won't turn over. suggestions?

Disconnect the fuel line between the fuel pump and filter.Turn the key on for a few seconds to see if pump is pumping.If it does change the fuel filter.Sometimes people assume if they hear the pump running it is good,but not always true.
