Door locked shut
I cannot open my smeg dishwaher door: its firmly locked shut. I have taken the lid off but cannot access the locking mechanism. I cannot find the fixing screw locations for the bottom kick plate either! help!

Hi found myself in same situation. Press in latch and insert fingers upwards there is a grey plastic strip push this up with fingers and door should open. Note upward press needed where this catch meets front of machine so just slide fingers up from latch/handle. There's actually no need to take top off to enable this.
so now we have the dishwasher open, but it's not filling up with water! got the program lights on and it beeps when switched on, but no other sounds!
