Drawer opens when the player is switched on
Hi there,
When i switch the cd player on (without a disc) it reads for a cd, for about ten flashes of the digits, then opens the tray. If i insert a cd then shut the drawer it does the same thing- just ejects the tray. Read elsewhere that it could be the drawer belt, though the drawer seems to be shutting fully.
Any ideas or comments greatly appreciated. Regards, Marc

Hello marc you have a dirty laser,blocked sensor or even a misaligned condition try this clean the lens put a disc and turn it off with the tray inside wait about a minute and turn it on saludos
