Dreamweaver 8 Navigation menus appearing under page text!!
I have created a navigation menu using dreamweaver, it works fine, but when I hover and the drop down menu appears, the text on my actual web page appears over the top of the drop down menu text making it unreadable and unusable.
The text on my page is in a layer (so that i can position it where I want)
Is there a way to solve this?

Have you tried changing the z-index on all your css to 6 so that those layers are behind the menu layer?
I am taking a deeper look at it in case my previous fix does not work
Could you zip it up and send it to [email protected] I have got most of the site to play with, but some bits will not come down.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks, I just uploaded it using ftp so you can see it:

If you click on weddings - there is more content and if you hover over 'styles' you see the drop down appearing under the text.
This was all created in dreamweaver 8. I can set the large picture to be a background in the table cell (instead of having the image as content of the cell), and then just have the text in the cell, that might work (not tried it yet, because I want to solve this rather than do a workaround that will restrict me with other things I want to do - I need to use frames for those other things)
Many thanks!
