Driver door beeps when open and key is out of ignition. What would cause this and what can I do to correct this?
Vehicle does not have remote keyless entry others doors and hood closed, windows up, rear window latched, all lights off, still beeps when driver door is opened

Most cars this means you left the head or park lamps on.
or the relay to them failed, did you look to see if lights are stuck on first. inside car all things stuck on, and outside,
did you look?
if all is out, then the key switch for key out is bad.
end story.
The problem is in the ignition switch where the key goes there is a sensor that senses key in ignition that breaks and grounds itself causing constant annoying beeping
