Driving down the road the engine just stops running with no warning at all. If I try to start it right away it just cranks and will not start. If I wait 5 minutes it starts right up like nothing ever happened and runs fine, this happened 2 times in the last 2 weeks. Could this be a fuel pump problem?

Yes it can be the problem with the fuel pump. Try putting a fuel pressure tester on and tape it to the windshield. When it dies on you check the pressure. also if the fuel pump checked out OK.it can be possible that a fuel pump relay is going weak. but if the fuel pump,fuel filter and relay is proper and has no problem at all.then the other possible parts to look out for this fault are start with the crank sensor then the ignition module. and yes its not the fault in the PCM. If it were the PCM, the car would not start and run normally after five minutes. get checked all this mentioned parts.the fault is in any of this parts. This will help. When was the fuel filter last time changed?
Try to find out if the fuel pump is OK by disconnecting the electrical cable plug out from the pump socket when engine was stopped. If the fuel pump is correctly supplied with electrical energy from the Engine Control Module (ECM) or there is a fuel pump problem?
If no electrical supply for the fuel pump you can connect a hot wire directly from the battery to pump. In this case the fuel pump must flows and engine running OK.
