Dropped my droid in water. Removed battery, tried to dry it, and it seemed to work but still had some moisture behind display. Removed battery and let it "bake" for 2 more hours at about 110 degrees. Seemed fine. Went to bed, next AM the display did not function. Phone seems to operate fine, but the display does not illuminate. I can even receive calls, and the screen is responsive to touches, I just can't see what I'm touching. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help! [email protected]
You baked your phone at 110°? That may have fried some of the internal circuitry. The best way to draw the moisture out of a phone is to place it in a container with some rice overnight.
