Dryer keeps cutting off and has to be restarted
I have a Kenmore electric dryer approx. 8 years old and after turning it on, it runs for a few minutes and then stops. I hit the button and it comes right back on and this goes on for quite awhile. It seems like the dryer the clothes get, the longer it runs without having to restart it.

There is normally a switch inside the motor that detects in turning at speed. That keeps the dryer running until it is either stopped, the door is opened, or the cycle is through. I am guessing that the contacts are getting bad on this switch.
