You will be needing someone with an electric meter, (an ohm meter or a multi-meter) to begin testing to find out if it is the dryer or the power source. The one thing you could do is check the fuse panel or the circuit breaker box to see if a circuit breaker popped or a fuse blew. The circuit breaker can be reset by flipping the handle a few times, a fuse would need replacement. Other than that, an electric meter will tell if the plug socket is live or dead, and then the machine needs be taken apart to see which part has failed.
