dryer suddenly wont finish washing a load of laundry. I think some sort of drain pump may be broken. The door will not unlock. I took the drain hose out and put it on the floor and it started draining all over my kitchen. When I tried to put it in a bucket to drain into the door still would not unlock. and now I have broken the door handle trying to open it. :(

If you are still looking for a solution to this here it is:
In these machines if you try to change the setting of the washer knob without letting a cycle finish which is already set it may happen that the unit won't function properly and hence the unit needs to be reseted. There is a reset procedure for the same and let me know if you would like have the same.
If the door is not opening it is advisable to reset the unit first and then try opening the door which should work and also the door handle won't break then.
If you have already replaced the door handle on your machine it is fine or else you may want to order the same from appliancedesk.com
