DUAL MONITOR RESOLUTION
I have 2 Optiquest Q19wb (Analog/VGA) LCD Monitors, running off of 1 XFX GeForce 8600GT Graphics Card (1 @ VGA Out, 1 @ DVI Out (w/adapter)), running on a GigaByte Motherboard.
I have been in contact with my MB, Graphics and Display Manufacturers, regarding 'Drivers', et al, and there has been alot of head scratching, but no resolution to my problem.
Whether I have EITHER of each Monitor hooked to either Output on the Card (1 at a time), or BOTH hooked to EITHER Output at the same time (2 at a time), if I go above 800x600 res on either Monitor, that Monitors Image moves DOWN & RIGHT, rather severly, and using the On-Screen Adjustment, does NOT help.

Not sure if you already tried Joe's advice.
if i am your situation, i would do the basic.
1. double check the refresh rate change to the lowest.
2. press Windows logo + P, and select extend monitor.
3. if 1 and 2 does not help, barrow video card to your friend to test.
At a guess it is the refresh rate the video card is sending to the video out. What is the Max Resolution of the monitors and refresh rate ??
I would think there is a program to be able to setup the driver refresh rate and resolution don't use window drivers get the ones from the makers of the card rather than using the default nivida drivers
