Duel Monitor Cintiq Problem... pen affecting wrong monitor
OK, so I have XP64, 1 Cintiq monitor, 1 regular monitor (LCD)... When both monitors are on, and I move the pen over the cintiq monitor... the cursor moves on the OTHER monitor! As if it's treating tho other monitor as the cintiq! How did THIS happen?!
Solutions that failed:
Display Properties... I TRIED EVERYTHING! From switching Main monitor preferences, to Extending monitor.. The ONLY thing that worked was if I turn off my second monitor. Only then will the cintiq pen affect the cintiq monitor.. But I really want to work duel!
Ayudame!

Under the calibrate tab in the wacom tablet properties window there is a drop down window with a list of monitors. Change that to the Cintiq
THANK YOU
That's already listed there for me. Everything was working fine and it suddenly stopped working but all settings are the same.
If I'm reading you right it sounds like a calibration problem. This also happens to me from time to time. I found that recalibrating the pen/tablet (via Wacom tablet properties in the Control Panel) resolves the issue.
go into wacom tablet propeties in control panel, and select mapping. select the screen you want the pen to point to. this happened to me when i moved my pc and changed the usbs around.
Just happened to me too --- but the solution that worked for me is:
1 Open Wacom Tablet Properties
2 In the tool row, select "Grip Pen"
3 Open the "Calibrate" tab
4 Change monitor from whatever it is currently (prob. Cintiq) to the other option... THEN CHANGE IT BACK. The toggling of monitors in this tab seemed to kick the Cintiq to being the monitor that responded to pen input.

On my imac screen under preferences/display-if I click mirror images it allows me to work on both surfaces but it then turns the color all whacked in my cintiq monitor and when I try to calibrate it -nothing happens.Any suggestions?
You pretty much want these settings on a mac, if its not set to vga2 thats why its doing it.
yes this just fixed mine! Thank you! Under the monitor drop down, it showed my macbook "LCD screen". Just selected the cintiq instead and all good
Hi all,
I'm having the same issue. No matter what settings I have (I've tried all of the above suggested), my pen affects my desktop display instead of my cintiq, and exclusively. It won't even track to the extended side that my cintiq is set for, even though the desktop shows up on it.
Help?
Right click on your desktop, choose 'Display'
Change 'Display' to your cintiq from the drop down.
Then turn on the checkbox for 'Make this my main display'.
It's happened to me twice and both times this has fixed it :)
