During performance, the monitor channel started giving loud noises and no music anymore. The mains channel was playing normally. 15 minutes later, the unit started giving a burned smell and I switched it off. Eric Blom

Likely a failure of one of the amps and now more... You should have shut it down when it started making noises. This is NOT a DIY repair. Take it to a competent repair shop for service.
