There are disk based digital video recorders available (Direct TV and TiVo) that record TV programming. In order to use them, it is my understanding you must be a cable subscriber or a satellite subscriber. What if your television reception is off-the-air? Is there a comparable product for use with off-the-air signals? I know you can use a VCR or a DVD format to record off-the-air but is there a computer disk based unit similar to the Direct TV and TiVo units?
