Dyna-glo rmc tt30dgp wont turn on
I have a dyna-glo tank top heater that worked fine for a while then the on dial started getting hard to turn. I now can not turn the dial to any position; low, med, high. Anyone got an idea of what the problem could be?

Your regulator has failed, just like mine did. Contact GHP Group Inc, (877) 447-4768 to order a replacement regulator - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PROPER HEATER MODEL NUMBER. Replacement Part Number: S2TT0001B for the RMC-TT30DGP.
Replacement cost including shipping is a couple bits over $21.
When talking to the technician on the phone, he cautioned me against rapidly opening the tank valve, which hammers the regulator (the replacement one is more robust than the original), kinda' like how water-hammer can cause damage to water pipes and/or water appliances. Open the tank valve gently, don't just whip it open (like I used to), your regulator will last a lot longer that way.
Because of the press-fit and pins used in the regulator construction & assembly, self-repair is not possible or recommended since the regulator may not seal correctly afterwards.
