I have a Dynex 7.1 sound card which has now been discontinued. Last week end we purchased a new flat screen monitor, it works great but since we went through the "found new hardware" wizard we no longer have sound. I have removed the drivers and reinstalled, 3 times. Pulled the sound card out and reinstalled, reloaded the drivers and pulled the most recent available driver for Windows 2000 from the internet. Still NO sound....I am at the point of sending this computer for a short walk off a long dock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
