E-Machines Desktop won't power on but all components do!
I have the same problem as posted by roberthga on Jan 10, 2008. Where do I buy a new "power supply unit?" And is it something I can easily install myself?

There are many places to buy a power supply. And place that sells computer hadware will have them (or online at places like Newegg, Buy, Tiger Direct etc)
They are not that expensive.
Changing it is pretty easy.
4 screws, and the unit will come out.
All the rest is modular plugs to the motherboard, and onboard devices (like hard drive, CD ROM, etc).
Just make sure you buy one that has the correct wattage (you can go higher then what you currently have).
Just make sure it is for the correct style (AT, ATX etc)
