I went to start my smoker Thanksgiving morning in Denver and I got the EAAF error. I checked all electrical connections and they appeared fine; I next removed the digital control box and stuck it inside my jacket to warm it up (was 15 deg outside) and lit a candle inside the smoker. After 20 min I put everything back together and it worked. Just remember to remove the candle inside the smoker. I plan to call Mastercraft on Monday to see if they can tell me what EAAF means.

yes, the temperature was 31 outside and it wouldn't start. Took a space heater out and placed in on the floor on a box with the heat going into the smoker with the door open. Yeah, it started when the temperature got up to 35 degrees. I had the brined fish ready to go and what was I going to do with it.yes, the temperature was 31 outside and it wouldn't start.
