Each time I attempt to initialize a zip disk in my Roland BR8
Each time I attempt to initialize a zip disk in my BR8 I get ''Medium Error''. I get this message with disks I've initialized in the past as well as new disks. Any solutions?

Probably the drive has gone bad as a first thought... this happens. Possibly the heads got dirty...
Make sure nobody has smoked tobacco around the unit as that is a killer for Zip drives.
Sometimes they have a second level of initializing/formatting. If the BR* has that, try it.
