Common problem with mp3 players, not just iRiver. Unless you are unusually careful with them - as in, sit still and don't move, this is something you can expect going forward. If you are experiencing the -sound out of only one earphone problem- then the mp3 player itself is faulty and needs to be replaced. If it just sounds scratchy, then sit still and don't move. Sad, but true. 3 times in 4 months is a bit excessive.
