Electric lawn mower has bad fault in the power switch
Mower will start when plugged in but will not stop , has to be unplugged to stop it . switch appears to be un servisable in that it is not meant to dismantled , not a problem with that .. is it possible to buy a replacement

Take it to a mower shop that has an electrical ticket or an appliance shop for repairs
wet grass , makes a good conductor for diy failures unless it is a 18-24 volt battery unit
