You can force open the drawer without causing any damage. The actuators on each side will let you do that. But you push it back in unless you manually move the actuators for which you will have to take the drawer out of its housing.
But before you do that, try to turn the power off at the mains and wait a little and turn back on.
The actual problem may be totally unrelated to the F9 or F7 codes.
Do you use hot water into the inlet or cold water?
I will need to ask a few questions before giving you a possible cause or solution.
Please keep this link if you do not have the installation manual which has instructions on how to open the front cover.
Do you have an integrated unit which does not have an LCD display? What button do you have available to turn the power on / off instead of the circle with perpendicular dash?
If you have already got the unit out, then you should be able to force open the drawer from the lid. There is no other way to get to the controller and the lid assembly without getting the drawer out. The controller is behind the front cover and the other bits are inside of the housing.
My gut feel is the lid actuator motors are burnt out. I do not have the parts manual for this model but if you contact
