Element 32" LCD TV has gone dead in 5 months
We have bought a bunch of these Element 32" LCD FLX3220F TV's together from Circuit City and installed them in our apartments about 5 months ago. They are going dead one at a time. I know it is not the screen, because it turns on for a second and shuts off right away, every time. If they would say as to "What" exactly is the problem, it may be a metter of a few pennies to replace whatever is wrong with it. These chicken Sh**s keep tossing you around without an answer.

I had the same issue with my element flx3220f. it would turn on then go right back off. i did some research and found the the problem was one of the transformers for the back light.
First tings first, make sure the TV is unplugged for about an hour before you go poking around in there.
if you remove the back of the tv you will see 6 of them in a row on a circuit board. you will need an ohm meter to check them. next to each of the 6 transformers there is a white 2 wire plug. Unplug the wires from the board and test the two pins inside the plug on the board. there should be a resistance value (mine were all around 8 to 9 M-ohms). if you find one with out a value then you have found your bad transformer. simply solder a new one into the board and that *should* solve your problem.

if you dont have the ability to solder circuit boards then the other option is to replace the entire board.
The part number for the transformer is : LTZ2PCOMS008
I had to replace the #3 transformer in my tv and now it works fine. im going to buy a spare transformer just in case.
I have same issues....apparantly it is some bad cheap chinese circutry in the boards...look for blown caps on your board and replace with similiar at Radio Shack. if it is only 5 months old i would return them as they should still be under warrenty. http://www.audiolabga.com/pdf/FLM3232.pdf service manual if you are so inclined.
