Element 32" TV. Power only for a few seconds, no audio
I have an Element 32'' TV. Similar to others, the gren light will light for a few seconds, with the screen lighting up. It will then shut off and back to the red ''standby'' light. I cannot hear audio as others have said they can. Power supply?

Yes, look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague
