Element flx 2210 does not power up automatic after pressing the power buttin
From the red standby light if you press power, the blue on light comes on for split second then goes off again. If i sit there and play with it it eventually stays blue with screen power up. (WITH VERTICAL LINES ON IT). THEN, after i leave it on there for a little while, so it could warm up, i unplug it and replug it back in and press power and the element screen comes on and finally a picture shows up. please help me what can i do?

You have classic symptoms of a failing power supply board. As others have stated this is caused by the filter capacitors on the power board. This model uses the 200-000-xxxxtltx power supply which is the same one found in the Polaroid TLS-01911c TVs.
