You're going to need to click on password recovery at hotmail, then follow the prompts. It usually will go with answering your security questions. Another method is to contact their customer support and prove you are you to them by faxing them your ID. If it matches the name and such, you will be good to go.
If neither of these is on option for you, sadly you will have to make a new e-mail and I suggest gmail if it has to be an option.
Also be sure to write down your password some where, and keep it there, I don't do this personally but I do suggest it :)
