Emerson CF4800 with SW375 receiver that does not turn on fan!
I have a Emerson CF4800 ceiling fan with SW375 receiver. It's been working for about 2 years until the fan stop working last week - though the light works fin from the SW330 remote control unit. While in the celing next to the SW375, I can hear the unit beep when I press the various SW330 remote control buttons. When I press the fan button, it get a short beep followed by a long beep.... then about about 3 seconds later long beep followed by short beep. The fan never moves. Any suggestions on what the beep codes mean? The wiring is fine. Cheers, Mike

Please excuse me if you already have the answer, but I went thru the same thing and found that the actual receiver was broken. The receiver that is found in the top part of the fan itself. I was able to diagnose the problem because I have two of the same fans in the house and when I switched the receiver units, the broken fan started to work. Hope that helps.
Where did you get another SW375 Receiver?
