Sounds like the starter relay is sticking. Then over heats the fuse and blows it. Check the relay and also check and clean the starter button to be sure it is not sticking on use contact cleaner. Be sure to read the label make sure it is safe to use on plastics.
I was bugged by the same problem for several months and finally found out it was a faulty side stand problem. The bike was mistakenly made to believe my side stand was being lowered whilst riding, which breaks the running circuit immediately. The test is to very slightly lower then raise the side stand while still coasting in gear during a cut-out episode. If the bike restarts while doing this, you have located the problem (and need to replace the connecter unit beneath the side stand. Good luck.
