Engine oil leak
The leak appears to be coming from the area where the engine and the tranmission join. I'm guessing a "rear main oil seal".
if so , can you discribe the processing to replace the seal. i have some experience, but have never worked on a front wheel drive vehicle. thank you

Big job....
You have to drop the motor and tranny out as one unit. It comes out the bottom.
Once you have it out, it's pretty straight forward, seperate the two, change the seal, reassenble, put the power unit (motor and tranny) back into the car.
That's the simplified version of it, but that the overall idea of how you have to do it.
