Engine oil light on after i washed the engine
I cleaned,dryed,and electrical greased all conectors but have the same results. Any ideas for me to try? Its a 1996 --- 60 hrsp tiller johnson oil injected. Worked great till got the bright idea to wash it lol.I purged the oil line and its getting oil and it runs fine just cant get the idiot light to go out.

Three things to try. You would think the motor would run hot enough to dry out. Sneak your wifes hairdryer out to the boat and use it for drying all the connections. Then check your oil for water, point being oil is an insulator and water conducts so a slight amount of water in the oil could ground the sensor. Last, disconnect battery and see if computer reboots.
