Turn key to ON (not start) then off, then on,then off, then on, and leave it on. Have a piece of paper and pen ready and count the flashes of the "Check engine light". It will flash a 2 digit number, with a pause in between each number. For example: flash,flash,pause, flash,flash,flash, would be code 23. Flash,flash,flash,pause,flash,flash, would be code 32. There will be a slightly longer pause in between the codes. When you get code 55, which is 5 flashes, pause, then 5 more, that means "end of message. Get back to us with the results and it will help pinpoint where the problem is and will help cure it quicker, and usually cheaper by taking out some of the guess work. We'll be waiting to hear back.
